More than 600,000 views for “Climate Change — the State of the Science”

Following in the footsteps of  Welcome to the Anthropocene, who reached more than 1 million viewers to date, our latest short film Climate Change — the State of the Science, has already been seen by more than 600,000 people online since its release last November.

Coproduced by the International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme (IGBP) and Globaïa, the film was financed by the United Nations Foundation to highlight the publication of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s Fifth Assessment Report, published in September 2013.

Climate Change — the State of the Science makes us travel around the Earth in 3 minutes to illustrate the probable impacts of climate change before the end of the 21st Century, as forecasted in the IPCC report, thus sounding the alarm on the urgency of reducing our carbon emissions.
